Wendy Davis Is Hot, So the Right Thinks She's a "Surgically Constructued Human Barbie Doll"

WendyDavisBillWhite.jpg
It's a science, folks: State Senator Wendy Davis is way more attractive than the rest of her colleagues in the Legislature, with the possible exception of Wayne Smith. Capitol watchers have known this for years, but it wasn't until the rest of America set its eyes upon Davis' filibuster that it reached the same conclusion.

There remain, however, a few holdouts who stubbornly refuse to believe that a 50-year-old could possibly remain attractive. Those doubts now are given fullest voice by The Real Wendy Davis, a new and anonymous website promising "a closer look at the Left's new feminist superhero."

That "closer look" involves an exhaustive study of two of Davis' old college yearbook photos, which are compared with pics from the present day.

WendyDavisjuxtapose.jpg

Now, juxtapose Davis' aging process with that Barack Obama

Barackoldnew.jpg

The conclusion, at least to the editors of the website, is inescapable: Davis is a human Barbie doll.

[C]onsider Texas state Senator Wendy R. Davis, who has recently been in the news being touted (however dubiously) as the Left's technologically enhanced "feminist superhero." She is 50 years old. Yet, unlike Reynolds and Obama, but like Mac Davis, it appears she gets better looking each day. If she has not found the Fountain of Youth, at minimum she has found very talented plastic surgeons and image consultants who have readied her for her closeup.

Somehow, during the past two decades she has been transformed from a frumpy, pleasant looking but plain-faced, flat-chested brunette with thick, messy hair, into a buxom blonde with excellent facial features and sleek, long, perfectly coiffed hair, like she stepped straight out of Vogue.

For someone who in the early 1990s was a feminist activist in law school, and who is currently posing as a champion of women's rights, standing up to men who seek to dictate the way women should live, she seems to have devoted an unusual amount of attention to her physical appearance.

There are two takeaways from all this. First, Wendy Davis is not a natural blonde. Second, the anonymous folks behind The Real Wendy Davis are super classy.

Davis should lose some looks,  intellect, have an annoying accent, buy a white trash family and become a Republican VP nominee.  OR, she could just have a lobotomy and go straight to Fox News for a job.

So primping yourself to look attractive to the opposite sex is somehow anti-woman? Really? Jeez, I consider myself a feminist in that I believe in women's rights, but I dye my hair and wear makeup so maybe I should cancel my membership to Stubble Legs for Suffrage. That reminds me...

This article suggest that because Wendy pays attention to her appearance, she is not a true feminist.  If Wendy did not pay attention to her appearance, it is likely that she would not be as effective in her efforts fighting for women's rights.  Let us not be blind to the way the world works.  There are plenty of feminist that are just as smart and talented as Wendy that are not in the limelight due to not being shinny.  Also, I don't appreciate Senator Davis' appearance being picked apart in this article.  You should be ashamed of yourself for being so shallow.  If you have to "apologize in advance" maybe you just shouldn't write the article.

A 50 year old woman jogs and dyes her hair? How can this be?! She can't be real unless she is shooting deer from helicopters and chugging down a 50 ounce slurpee.

Face looks the SAme to me. Chin, nose, lips, all look the same. Only real difference is the hair and she's probably rocking better makeup these days.

Now can we get a side by side of her bust?

you know, she may have had some tits put in, some work on the lips and teeth, the skin tightened a little bit and her hair colored, but who gives a fuck, at she least she cares what she looks like unlike 60% of fat america that doesnt even try anymore

I picture the response as the drooling "Alien" (of Alien fame) popping out of Cheney's chest rubbing its appendages together in anticipation.

As a conservative, I have absolutely no problem with your comment.

@Threeboys @observist  The loins want what the loins want.  Just don't act all offended when you're called a sexist or a misogynist.

@everlastingphelps @observist There's probably some truth to that, insofar as "conservative" means "Republican" and increasingly "Republican" means "Southern".   Southern women put way more effort into the their appearance.

@holmantx I suspect soundpam meant that deficits are shrinking, not the debt.  We haven't seen a shrinking debt since Clinton.

@holmantx  Hutchison hasn't gotten 50% since 2000, the same year George Bush got 49%.  Those days are gone, now.  Besides, Kay Bailey is a pro-choice moderate who was forced out of Texas politics by the Tea Party.  No candidate like her could win a primary here.

Perry won 38% of Hispanics (not 40%), and that was during a Republican wave election year (2010).  I wouldn't look for him to repeat that performance after the Republican primaries forced him to go hard right.  While Perry will certainly win the general election, he'll be lucky to reach 35% among Hispanics in 2014.

Purple status is probably a decade away, but it's coming.

I am always amused by those who stand squarely in the intersection of Ignorance Avenue and Arrogance Boulevard . . . on a bullhorn.

Then get hit by a truck.

Watch this:

The National Debt is shrinking?

HA!  care to back that up?

The ACA is going to reduce healthcare costs?

Not even the President is saying that anymore and the writers of the Act are calling it a train wreck.  It's why the President shoved back implementation another year yesterday.

Immigration reform, as presently written is DOA.

@holmantx @TheCredibleHulk @wcvemail LOL! It's always amusing to see ignorant, paranoid, blathering. Thanks for the laugh. BTW - we in the REAL world know that the debt is shrinking, the ACA is going to lower costs even more, & that immigration reform will make the country money. Only in looney-tunes land, where folks ignore facts - are fantasies treated as fact. Once again - thanks for the laughs!

People are bugging out of CA, the Rustbelt and the NE Seaboard for a reason.  Oppressive state governments and loose fiscal policies over-tax their economies and stifle job growth.  It's why they come here.

And it is just a matter of time before the national government collapses for the same reason.

When the tab falls due and Obamacare is finally implemented (they delayed it another year yesterday because it is an absolute train wreck), the generations behind the Yuppies are going to spit the bit.  The debt wall is too great.  They aren't going to do it.

Sooner or later, by necessity, we will ALL be what you call . . . conservative.

It's only a matter of time.

Republican candidates in Texas draw 40 percent of the Hispanic vote on average.

KB Hutchison got 50%.

There is no reason to believe the state will flip.

Nope. She can't beat either one. Yet.

Even as Perry reaches the nadir of his popularity in a state that is gradually but inevitably turning purple, conservatives - as they are wont to do, will double-down on a bad idea and elect him once more.

If for nothing more than pure spite.
