In Case You Missed it, Here's Mayor Rawlings' Not-at-All Awkward 'Dallas' Cameo

We didn't get around to watching J.R.'s funeral on "Dallas" last night nor, if last week's ratings are any predictor, did the rest of the city. But we were curious to appraise Mayor Mike Rawlings' acting chops, which, we're proud to say, are totally on par with noted thespians Mark Cuban and Jerry Jones. Their sense of mourning was palpable. Give those men an Emmy.

I thought Rawlings did a pretty credible job of acting.  Jerry was Jerry, and Cuban made me wince.

So, Rawlins is going around speaking out against domestic violence, etc., and this is what grabs your attention? Something to snark at. Then again, by doing something your publication supports, well, uh, that would go against your evil GOP, big business beholden mayor narrative. And we can't have that now, can we.  The Dallas Observer: A publication for petulant teenagers, by petulant teenagers.

I've never seen Rawlin's look more natural. I smell a spinoff . . .

You forgot that the Dallas Petroleum Club was a star of the show too.
