Tom Corea, Renowned Penis-Graffiti Artist, is Now Charged with Assaulting His Wife
For those of you who haven't been keeping score at home, a quick recap. Tom Corea is a disbarred, Klonopin-addicted trial lawyer accused of stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars of his client's money, with which he bought luxury cars, a half-million-dollar RV, a quarter horse operation and other things he couldn't pay for. He was locked up in Dallas County Jail, released on bond, then thrown back in again after he trashed his former law office and drew penises on the wall. His request to be relocated to a cushy, low-security drug rehab center conveniently located a mere 20 miles from the Mexican border was denied. And his client's files somehow wound up in his mistress' apartment.

But that's not all! Corea also assaults family members and interferes with 911 operations, according to a pair of charges out of Ellis County that showed up this week on Corea's Dallas County jail rap sheet.
According to a probable cause affidavit filed in Ellis County, Corea's daughter called 911 on June 4 to report that he was attacking her mother and pulling her hair. Corea interrupted the call by taking the phone from his daughter and hanging up. Corea's wife, who has filed for divorce, told police she did not want to press charges. They've done so anyways.
Practically speaking, this doesn't have much effect on Corea's immediate future. Ellis County has placed a hold on Corea, meaning he'd have to meet their $2,000 bond before being released. And that would only come after he met his $575,000 bond in Dallas County, which he hasn't been able to do.
