Rick Perry Gave Greg Abbott a Gun For His Birthday, Because of Course He Did

Yesterday was Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott's 55th birthday, and it brought with it the question of what to give a man who has selflessly devoted his life to suing the federal government. A PACER gift card to cover all those pesky filing costs? A guaranteed slot in the Republic of Texas' cabinet? An Obama pinata to wail on, then burn in effigy?

Rick Perry had a better idea.

That's right: a .380 Ruger LCP -- the same model Perry used to off that coyote. Abbott didn't specify how he plans to use a gun, but this is Texas. There are plenty of coyotes about.

And then, how the DO comment system fails to work on three Macs and an iPhone

@observist - And what special consideration is that?

 @albert.finney000  @observist In your revisionist fantasies, pervert.  The first release of Linux was in 1991.  If you want your comment system to work, you just have to use Windows like the rest of us.  There a guy named Marcus Bachmann up in Minnesota who can help you repress your deviant OS desires and install Windows on your Macs.

@observist @albert.finney000 - The Founders used Linux.

 @albert.finney000  @observist It doesn't matter if you believe in Microsoft.  A majority of computer users do.  The founding fathers intended this to be a Microsoft nation.

 @albert.finney000  @observist  You're griping that the DO isn't accommodating your deviant operating system.  I, for one, support the Defense of Personal Computers Act, which defines a personal computer as one that uses a Microsoft operating system, as written in IBM scripture.  Your use of an alternative operating system threatens the operating system of the majority of Americans, and neither the DO nor anyone else should be forced to accept your perversion of Bill Gates' will.

I've heard that Abbot has always admired Perry's gun.
