Yu Darvish in a Speedo And Other Unfortunate Photos of Rangers Rookies Being Hazed

After more or less single-handedly propelling the Rangers past the Angels last night with two home runs and six RBIs, thus securing a playoff berth, it would take something extraordinary Mike Napoli to fall from a Rangers fan's good graces. But dear Lord, Napoli came close.

Not long after his triumphant performance, Napoli took to Twitter.

Seemingly innocuous, but what followed was nearly two dozen photos such as the one above. Veteran-on-rookie shenanigans used to take place in the privacy of the team's clubhouse but now, thanks to the magic of Twitter, they can be, um, enjoyed by fans everywhere.

Profar is the only one in truly good shape and Darvish is sorta ok. Baseball is one of the least athletic sports. You can be fat, old and still play.

Just asking; but how come hazing is ALWAYS overtly "gay" in nature?

ps-And shouldn't this team be trying to focus it's energy on losing a 159 game first place lead? If they lose this division title, it will set the franchise back years.

Yessss, 3 sports post in a row. Mr Tone is turning this place around. and this is why Twitter is great. So many things that used to be out of the limelight are now put out for public consumption. Robbie Ross seems to embrace every rookie bit they put on him.
