Rangers-Orioles at the Ballpark: Still Plenty of Seats from which to Boo Josh Hamilton

Rangers fans seem like a relatively forgiving bunch, but yesterday's series of events -- the dropped fly above, followed by Josh Hamilton appearing bemused and totally bored by his clumsy, possibly game-killing error -- seems to have sent the fan base into a proper rage. And they'll be able to express that rage Friday at the Ballpark, albeit in hesitant, we-hope-you-make-up-for-it tones.

Tickets are already on sale through MLB.com; the best pair available looks to be just far enough for your boos to go unheard. To be within earshot you'll have to consult Stubhub, where for $1500 a piece you can be close enough to make elaborate accountability-partner jokes.

Fifteen-hundred, by the way, is about the ceiling of what the average Rangers fan would be willing to offer Hamilton for his services in 2013.

Darvish has given up only 1 hr in the last 50 innings. Baltimore lives and dies by the long ball. Looks like rookie Johnson will be starting for the O's according the the Baltimore newspaper's best guess.

I do not like the Rangers chances advancing into Yankee stadium but Friday's best bet is on the local team.
