Let's Watch Some Responsible Parents Take Their Young Son Shoplifting at 7-Eleven

Categories: Crime

There are good things you can do with your 5-year-old kid, and there are bad. We were always unsure which category a shoplifting trip to 7-Eleven belonged in, but the video above clears that right up. DPD sent over the video. The incident happened on August 29 at the 7-Eleven at 225 E. Colorado Blvd.

-:12 It starts with one couple at the back of the store shoving bottles of laundry detergent into her purse and his waistband.
-:20 Another couple walks up, this one with a kid.
-1:08 Man stuffs more detergent into his pants.
-1:46 The kid, who looks like he's five or six, covers his eyes and turns away as the woman starts to load detergent into her purse.

It's like earmuffs, but for eyes. The couples left with about $100 in laundry detergent. The son left with a valuable life lesson: if you pretend didn't see it, it didn't happen.

Never knew 7-11s carried so much detergent but amazed this much detergent can be carried out inconspicuously.

Don't the fools know that this is the same 7-11 where the manager fought back and knocked out the glass eye of a would-be shoplifter?

That little boy isn't eligible for "deferred deportation" anymore.

If 7-eleven wants their stuff back they can find it at one of 12th Street's fabulous Stolen Goods Sales ("garage sales") that pop up at every other house every single weekend.

What? You can't buy laundry detergent on your SNAP card?

Here's a tip-- if you need to steal laundry detergent-- learn how to use a condom.

@everlastingphelps I didn't check this link, but does it have a chart that details just what the Tide / Meth exchange rate is this week?

@ObserverHatesFacts You are really stretching it thinking these folks have a SNAP card. I bet they make too much to even have one. This is just flat out greed. Those fathers are slime, cowards and huge pieces of shit.

You assume people that steal laundry detergent with their kid are honest enough to claim their income or even file their taxes.

@ObserverHatesFacts IF they don't file their taxes they can't get a SNAP card. What? You think they just go to Oak Cliff and give those things away? ..........yeah, you probably do.
