Glenn Beck Will Somehow Be "Restoring Love" At Cowboys Stadium On July 28

Categories: Events

Honest to God, we have no idea what's going to happen at Glenn Beck's upcoming three-day-long "Restoring Love" rally at Cowboys Stadium. None whatsoever.

When Robert Wilonsky first tipped you to the event back in December, he mentioned, per the promo materials, that there would be "music, speakers and fireworks." Fine. We just saw some pretty good fireworks last week, but we're always up for more explosions.

But that's a little vague, yes? Apparently other people had questions too, because now Glenn Beck himself has appeared in the new promo you see above, getting into some real esoteric shit.

"I think I'm looking forward to feeling what I felt in Jerusalem and what we felt in Washington, D.C.," he says. "If you were in Washington, D.C., or Jerusalem, you 'd know what I'm talking about. There was just this sense of togetherness and goodness and peace. Just everything that we long for was felt on that day. It's something I'll never, ever forget. Nor will anybody who was there. It's going to happen again, in a way."

Beck is of course referring to his "Restoring Courage" and "Restoring Honor" rallies, which turned out a few thousand people apiece to feel Glenn Beck's feelings with him.

"The event itself at Dallas Cowboys stadium is -- we're going to unveil something, a piece of history that has never ever been seen before," he continues to not explain. "Most people don't even know it exists. When you see it, it will explain, I think, who we are as a nation."

Well, hot damn. That solves it. Glenn Beck's obviously planning on staging a viewing of Nicolas Cage's classic documentary National Treasure. Sign us up. Tickets are 10 bucks, or $150 with an autographed book, or between $1,000 and $5,000 for VIPs. Save us an "Occupy Love" T-shirt, would you?

Wow, sounds like the author could stand some love restoration.  Not surprising when you consider that hate, hate and more hate is the heart and soul of all liberal philosophy.

<<< Chiggers! Really, Al. Isn't there a Young Republican's Club or KKK meeting that you're late for?>>>

FYI, the KKK was and always has been a DEMOCRAT'S club. It was originally formed so that members could rough up and initimidate Rebublicans because Republicans wanted to abolish slavery and Democrats didn't. As a matter of fact, Democrats didn't even turn a friendly eye toward blacks until the middle of the 20th century and only then because they realised they could easily manipulate their votes. It's been working too. Blacks have lost ground trusting in Democrats because the very heart of the Democratic party was always racist. Now, thanks to yet another Democrat, more blacks and also now more Latinos than ever before will be stuck on the public dole, beholden to their masters, still shackled.

Shame on you!

Really? A few thousand people at Beck's Restoring Honor rally? Are you seriously posting that absurdity and expecting credibility? Did you totally ignore the news coverage? A few HUNDRED thousand crammed the mall to be at Beck's Restoring Honir rally. Not a single uncivilized moment either. They left the mall cleaner than they found it too--cleaner than the 10,000 souls that went to Al Sharpton's HUGE EVENT left their little patch of grass. lol.

Come on people, get real! You are so missing out of the best of the best!

PS: I see that just the volunteers who came to cleam up and repair stuff in your city and around your state filled the Dallas Cowboy's stadium. 35,000 plus people from all over America and abroad, all there to feel the love and pass it along by cleaning up your parks, repairing your dilabidated buildings, feeding your poor people and bringing smiles and their sweat equity to your town. And the best you can do is make fun of them and put them down? This is what you call Texas hospitality? Naw, I know how beautiful people in Texas can be. You guys must be from some other place, like New York City, or Paris, France, or somewhere where the people take great pride in being rude and obnoxious! LOL

Now think about it, wouldn't you rather be filled up with love and brotherhood, a strong feeling of neighborliness, a craving to do something really nice for someone else you don't even know? I bet you would!

I wonder how much the author has donated to charity? What percentage of their income? Some people just can't stand to see somebody be successful, and give more in charity in one year than they make in a lifetime.

The irony of this statement is overwhelming.

You are either a liar or an idiot.  Mercury One is a charity that has already collected and given millions to those in need. Ask the victims of the tornadoes in Indiana.  This event will fill food banks all over the U.S. Thousands will get food that would not otherwise.  The fact that Glenn makes money from his operations kills you, I know. He is a good businessman. He is also one of the most generous charitable men. Can we say that about you, Mavdog? When was the last time you gave to a food bank or served meals in one? Huh?

Well are you a perfect example of an jackass with a keyboard and his head up his butt! I've got an idea. Why don't you spend the $10 ( if you have it ) and see what its all about for yourself?  There were 500,000 in DC rally in 2010. Over 90,000 have bought tickets for this event. " A few thousand" will be there.  Afraid you might like it? Ha ha ha.

Why. I enjoy taunting Beck fans. So easily riled up. Beck is a national treasure, as far as I'm concerned. He's like catnip for the "bitter-clingers". Take our friend Albert, here, as a fr'instance. His presence in these threads is like a game of "Conservative Whack-A-Mole", and the prize is that we get to examine his ridiculous positions and get some insight into what fools like him are thinking. Hilarious!

...and *you people* aren't. Oh, and: "Queer"? That's a bit insensitive, Al. Don't you think? For someone sooooo concerned about homophobic commentary, anyhow.Get the hate on *dude*.

So interesting how a liar is the first to call someone else a liar, and a fool recognizes the fool.
