Categories: Weather

It happened in Coppell. You can probably guess when. Video is unsafe for work, presuming your boss isn't big on F-bombs.

Joe, if you scored yourself a wife happy to have a Pontiac Sunfire for that long you're one hell of a lucky man.

Worst rental car I ever drove.

A hail storm a few years back nailed my truck that I had only had for a month. Talk about a helpless feeling. This chick beside me, who knew that it was a brand new truck, said "Thats what we have insurance for" and chuckled. That moment was the closest that I have ever come to punching a bitch square in the mouth.

Terribly sorry about your car.  Thank goodness no one was hurt.

I was sittting in traffic one time when my car was hit by hail.  It was very small, I think pea-sized, so the windows weren't broken.  The damage was only cosmetic, but it was a scary experience.

Yes, this happened here in Dallas.

I get motivated and clean out my garage 20 minutes before each storm front blows through so I can fit my car in to avoid expending the unexpendable.

When he says "what are we going to do. what are we going to do" at the end is heartbreaking.  Please have insurance!

We do not. We have earthquakes. During the tornado, two of my California friends said, "I think I prefer earthquakes to tornadoes. I have to disagree. I like that weather guys in helicopters can tell me when tornadoes are coming.

On the bright side, it was a Pontiac Sunfire rather than a decent car.

My first car was a white sunfire. For $12000 new, it was a pretty nice car. Never had a problem with it, and rolled the odometer well past 150000.

Let's see Joe. So far you have gotten to go through: Multiple 100 degree days, drought, tornado/hail/torrential rain. All you have left is hurricane aftermath and winter ice/snow.

You gotta be tough to live in Texas.

Wish you had been shooting when the back window went out. Love the river going through the parking lot.

Of course now you can participate in the other Texas springtime tradition, taking pictures of the kid in a patch of bluebonnets. There are a few nice stretches along 635 near Beltline just south of you.
