please everybody, don't let them put a toll road through our beautiful park. The Trinity River Corridor is too beautiful to ruin for the sake of rush hour traffic. Central Park in NYC sure doesn't have a freeway deck running through it...
Send a copy of this to Laura Miller. Who needs a waterfront park in the middle of Dallas...when you can have a Toll Road. She was such a visionary!!
Question: With the water at this level, how does the toll road stay above water while still giving adequate overhead clearance for the existing bridges?
Answer: It doesn't.
Someone needs to get a shot with the bridge in it so we can show people that our fancy new bridge spans something other than a field with a ditch in the middle.
Its photos like this that give folks a boner for the mythical Trinity River, and Dallas as a waterfront city. Its like a giant real-life rendering and has cost this city millions
