Margaret Hunt Hill, Meet Justin Terveen

We began the day on the bridge, we end the day on (OK, near) the bridge -- this time with one of Justin's photos compiled for the Margaret Hunt Hill slide show you'll find here. It was either this or this: from the Library of Congress's archives, a 100-year-old photo of the then-brand-new Houston Street Viaduct, at the time known as the Oak Cliff Viaduct. I was looking at it this evening when Patrick "Buzz" Williams walked by and noticed it on my screen. Said he: "Now there's a bridge." And here it is again. Same photo ... or is it?

I'm packing up a few things. And ... ah, yes. There's room for Justin in this box, right here. Now, off to the Kessler to conduct this eve's Q&A with Jon Anderson. Roundabout, y'all.

Did the friends of Mr Cairo make an appearance?

If this "Gateway to Ray's" pic isn't Jim Schutze's computer wallpaper, that needs to be fixed.
