Council Votes Not to Suspend Its Rules, Which Means Jasso's New Map Won't Get Look-See

• Mary- Kleberg is not the only one of the things I worry about, almost everyone broke the rules with the map. The only reason why Jasso did the map is so she won't have to run with Giggs and thats just upsetting for members to only think about there own and worry about just being in office for two years. If it was for different parts of the city, fine. Agian, its not final until the Justice Department has the final word which who knows what may happen and I'm waiting it out. Do I plan on running for office? Not anytime soon, who knows what life might be for me later. It was never in any interest  really. I just stating my opinions, I'm not here to get anything or be anything. 

• You are stuck like glue on this subject.  Get over it.  You will not be the councilmember even if it was placed in the new district.  I thought you said you were changing your address to the college.  LET IT GO BEFORE IT MAKES YOU SICK.

• This goes beyond beating a "dead horse".  This horse is dead, burried and the ground has settle.  Jasso, you spoke so boldly about filing a law suit so just do it... And for the record, all of a sudden more than 9 people will support the map just because it takes Griggs out of the District?  Shame on the entire Council.  The FBI will never stop investigating this City, County or State...

• "I am here today, colleagues, only to appeal to you to open the discussion. I did submit a map, but I am open to tweaking in the Oak Cliff areas. I don't think anything more than that needs tweaking. We have an opportunity to make sure more than nine people can support a map with tweaks." Uhhhh yes theres still some tweaking that stills needs to be done. #1 Kleberg-Rylie. Yes, the fat ladys sings until the Justice Departments comes out with its final decision.  Yet agian, Atkins is forced to drink the Kool-Aid.
