And then there's this: Word just arrived in the in-box that former Dallas Maverick Josh Howard's putting together a small-star group for a 10-city charity-game tour benefiting his foundation.
Among the stops: a November 12 game at P.C. Cobb Complex on Robert B. Cullum, across from Fair Park, that'll feature the likes of Jason Terry and Corey Brewer of the Mavs, Kimball's own Quinton Ross, former Mav-turned-Bobcat DeSagana Diop, Seagoville High School's LaMarcus Aldridge (one of The Association's comeback players of 2011, with the Trail Blazers) and others. Tickets are $15 -- $50, if you want to sit on the floor.
