No one likes watching other people's home movies ... unless they're Super 8 reels from 1977, feature snatches of classic-rock mainstays ("Slow Ride," "Stranglehold," "Fool for the City," "Won't Get Fooled Again," etc.) played on KZEW and contain some 20 minutes' worth of random footage of dudes in GM muscle cars burning rubber all through Northwest Dallas, by which I mean Forest Lane back when the FedMart was still open, the Pizza Inn was still serving and the paint on the brick wall was still fresh. This was just posted to YouTube, and it's Dazed and Confused accidentally chopped and screwed for the art house. Jump, but not while you're sober. Unfair Park in a nutshell.

q102 sticker on my bedroom window so people would know which room was mine. Cruising Cooper and hanging out at Randol Mill Park (70's/early 80's, not 90's). Made the 18 drinking age, then got grandfathered in after they changed it to 19 and then 21. And your righ about the better realationship with Law Enforcement. They would make you pourr out your beer and make you throw the weed down the sewer or just take it themselves. I don't see how kids these days get out of high school without becoming felons.

Wow. I was expecting this to be a beautiful trip down memory (Forest) lane from the late 70's.

Who in the hell cruised FL in the daytime!?! Guys driving douche canoes apparently. No wonder my girls and I never actually pulled over for any boys while ignoring the many "No U Turn" signs along the strip.

Guess the freaks who made this video were such fans of LaBella and Rody + Mike Rhyner that they could only get their groove on during morning drive time…….or maybe, I'm being too harsh and they just didn't have proper lighting for night shoots.

Think I'll go drink a Boone's Farm Tickle Pink or maybe go all out and sip a cherry vodka in remembrance of all the boys from the Land of Gar (yes, Garland, that's you) that I managed to avoid hooking up with during my high school cruising years!

This one is going to be a little more free-stylin'. We couldn't get any property owners to bite, the city council woman (Ann Margolin) wouldn't respond to any emails and generally no one gives a fiddly shit.

Plus my one of my headers is cracked and my power steering pump is leaking like a sieve. The bar's leak is holding up in the radiator, though!
