Rangers: Nolan Ryan Taken to Hospital Sunday For "Discomfort"; He'll Undergo Tests Today

Texas Rangers CEO and President Nolan Ryan was hospitalized in Houston after experiencing discomfort early Sunday morning at his home in Georgetown, Texas. Mr. Ryan will undergo tests on Monday for what is believed to be a recurrence of the heart condition which he has previously experienced.Update at 5:37 p.m.: This just in from John Blake at the Texas Rangers:
Mr. Ryan is resting comfortably and reports he is feeling better. He is expected to be released from the hospital in a few days.
The Rangers ask that you respect the privacy of Mr. Ryan and his family at this time.
Texas Rangers CEO and President Nolan Ryan, who was hospitalized in Houston after experiencing discomfort early Sunday morning at his home in Georgetown, Texas, underwent a series of precautionary tests earlier today. The test results indicated no new developments with this recurrence of Mr. Ryan's heart condition. That condition will continue to be treated with medication. Mr. Ryan continues to improve and is expected to be released from the hospital in a day or two.
