Mayor Mike's Dinner With Council Ain't Open

• Social?  Yeah.  Like he invites Angela Hunt over ALL the time.

• Every Federal trail I  attended defendants have said, and relied on the City Attorney Office for advice.All have been found guilty. I do not believe a word they say or a law they interpret.

• Greyson is throwing Crip signs!!!

• I think Jerry Allen just cut one.  Jasso scootched right, Greyson is trying to keep her lunch down and Dwayne looks surprised.

• Which, when I brought this up with Paula, is when she said, "Take it up with the Legislature." I'm with ya, all the way.

• It's interesting that the entire point of the Open Meetings Act is that you can't really trust politicians unless there's a 3rd party around to keep them honest (otherwise, you could just ask them what they talked about and trust that it was all above board without jumping through the OMA hoops). But we can take their word on it that they won't discuss city business. I mean, that's the only common thread that the group of people shares, so there's no reason to suspect it would come up in conversation.

• How about something easy as we did in grade school:  short people downfront, tall people in the back.  What is Sandra Greyson doing with her hands?  Based on that picture, we've got a lot of councilpersons putting in overtime with the knife and fork.  I hope the Mayor makes lean portions with lots of fresh vegatables.

• Rawlings' fake smile says, "Why did my parents make me go to this high school? I'm going to run away."

• Just before this photo was snapped, Sandy Greyson rubbed the top of Tennell Atkins' head, and Atkins turned and snapped at her, "Cut that shit out. Damn, woman!"

• Does Angela wear signature red at victories like Tiger Woods. I would love to see her in a purple, mauve or something light. Maybe a bone color?

• So you (and the rest of the media) are letting Carol Reed off the hook? Maybe you should go to her Web site and look at her client list - <cough> Perot/Hillwood - and dig in to her affiliations  - <cough> Kathy Nealy.

• Is this dinner going to be at Ross Perot Jr.'s house again-- like that Christmas Party awhile back?

• Did anyone check the guest list to see if Mari Woodlief is there? Just saying...

• What's with that group picture?   Surely they did a retake.  You can't see Jerry Allen or Angela Hunt.  Sandy Greyson's hands look wacky.  Did they use some discount photographer?
