For Your Weekend Listening Pleasure: The Night Doug and Glen and Danny Swapped Songs

I'd planned on attending, but the 7-year-old who lives in my house had a swim meet run long; that's the way breaststroke go. Danny says there were maybe 50 people there ("shit, man, I dunno," he said when I asked this afternoon). Didn't know till this morning how much I'd regretted missing it, but like the man says, should've known.
The cuts, originals and covers impeccably performed and soundboard captured, sing for themselves, so no need to recap; dig in. A few things stick out, though, Burr's somber version of Depeche Mode's "Personal Jesus" chief among them; it's apt for any number of reasons. Danny, with a hankering for Hank, also whips out a seldom-heard Willie Nelson song, "Last Thing I Needed First Thing This Morning"; Farris offers two Bruce covers, "Born to Run" and "Atlantic City," the latter my favorite cut off my favorite (today, anyway) Springsteen record. The set runs two perfect hours, just enough time to get to Hillsboro and back tomorrow night. Thanks, fellas. Much obliged.
