That said, we won't beat you down with all-day posts from today's parade; only when it's appropriate and when it's over. But here, two hours before the beginning, fair warning: It's crowded and only getting more packed,
from DART to the corner of Young and Griffin, where Mayor Dwaine Caraway's presently making the rounds.
Update at 8:12 a.m.: This just in from Dallas City Hall:
Dallas Police have now closed Victory Plaza because it has reached the 3,000 person maximum capacity. Please find another spot along the parade route to enjoy the celebration.
