• The Guildhall is in Plano. Video games saved the burbs, I guess.

• 1,100 gaming jobs saved Dallas?

• If only they could be sued for making a terrible game out of a smoldering pile of vaporware. But, if that was allowed, John Romero would've been wiped out after Daikatana years ago.

• I will give it to this area, the gaming industry gave us a boost in those down economic times. But, it also created situations like Ion Storm and the G.O.D. movement, who matra  "When Its Ready" gave devs such as 3D Realms carte blanche to blow others money with careless abandon and deliver crappy products, which pretty much put PC gaming in the toliet for quite awhile..

• Gearbox is giving five-figure bonuses after shipping that turd of a game in Duke Nukem Forever out? Good for them, I suppose.
