Today, City Hall Bleeds Blue. Go, Mavs!

That reflecting pool at City Hall looks extra enticing this morning.
Those lightweights at Dallas City Hall didn't go full-frat with, say, a blue-painted bare chest workday to support the Mavericks before tonight's big game. But with a few gallon jugs of pond water-tint technology, the city's taking care of business today atop a shimmering pool of deep Mavs blue.

At 10 this morning, the city's pond maintenance/glee club was just getting started on the reflecting pool, in hip waders and thick rubber gloves, scattering a few drops of chemical every few steps -- a fine photo op for the kids, and a guarantee that hardly anything's living in that plaza's water today.

Jump for a few more shots of the city's blue lagoon.

Great. More big government spending. Didn't they hear Suhm say that $60 million has to be cut?!?

If the city wasn't so broke they could afford to have the real Ty-D-Bol man.

There's so much yellow urine in the pool it's amazing that when mixed with the blue paint the pool didn't turn green....
