The Day Provides Yet Another Campaign Season Highlight: A New Dwaine Caraway Radio Ad

Many thanks to the great Rudolph Mantooth Bush, head scorekeeper at The News's City Hall Blog, who has shared Mayor Dwaine Caraway's sequel to his Payday Loan King ad slamming Mike Rawlings for his six-year stint on the board of directors of Ace Cash Express. But it's so much more.

Because, you see, it was only yesterday that Rawlings's campaign posted to the YouTube his latest campaign ad in which Roger Staubach reads from The News's endorsement of his good friend, the former homeless czar, and says "he's a great leader we can trust."

Seems Caraway's not fond of the ad -- or calls being made by the Rawlings campaign in which he says he's got Staubach's nod, while Ron Natinsky has the support of Mayor Dwaine Caraway. "Is that a slap?" Caraway asks in the ad below. "Because Roger Staubach is greater than the folks in the southern sector and Dwaine Caraway?" Listen to the whole thing. Make it your ringtone. Please, campaign season, don't quit me now.

Why are there Dwaine Caraway signs all over City property in District 4?
If he would keep his mouth shut, then all the contradictions would not come out and people would not know how stupid he is.
Natinsky has Caraway, Blairs of Elite News and Kunkle has Joyce Foreman. Their pay may not be as much but only because he doesn't have as much. Truth be told, Natinsky sought those same people.
We in the southern sector did not make him Mayor Pro Tem. This mayor belongs to the north and it appears that his head is swelling.

My thought exactly when did Carraway start speaking for the entire southern sector? He's such a clown. I can't wait until his little fake mayorship is over.
Wow, what a bizarre message. Natinsky should pray that Caraway will find a different candidate to "support".
If Rawlings is a good dim the last thing we should want is to hurt Leppert since he is by far the weakest canidate in the pub primary
And how much money is Dwaine Caraway taking in for al of these radio buys. His campaign finance report shows he brought in $13K, how does he have enough money for this??? And still the point Dwaine considers himself speaking on behalf of the South before and better than all I mentioned and Kathy Nealy and Willis Johnson just bc he has Mayor before his name for four months? Give me a break.
And the Rawlings list also includes those famous South Dallasites Kathy Neely and Willis Johson to the tune of a couple hundred thousand dollars to buy the election.

Tom Leppert made his bed now he should lay in it (along with the rest of us). Rawlings has nothing to do with Leppert's inablity to become a sentor-Leppert himself is responsible for his record of tax payer hotels and toll roads funded by ear marks.
If it costs Leppert the nomination, it's because he is on record doing all those things--not because Rawlings pointed it out. It was solid logic for Rawlings to point it out. Leppert is throwing people--hard-working, honest folks--under the bus for political expediency.
I don't think it's a good idea in a radio ad for Ron Natinsky to metion Mike Rawlings name most often. My scorecard shows the following tabulation: Mike or Mike Rawlings six mentions Dwaine Caraway three mentions Ron Natinsky two mentions Mike Rawlings thanks you for your support Mr. Mayor!
SMH. Just when I thought Mayor (Interim Mayor) Caraway would sit down and shut up, I'm left again shaking my head. He's still at the "Pay Day Loan King" although in June 2010 Caraway gave a Proclimation to ACE for their "good works". Now he's talking about Southern Sector votes and phone banks in the north??? Maybe he didn't see page two of the DMN yesterday, that showed a picture of Mike Rawlings southern sector phone bank? And how does it compare when the only southern sector political endorsements Natinsky has is "Carry Water Away-Caraway" and Jasso compared to JWP, Roce West, Tennell Atkins, Vonciel Jones Hill, Steve Salazar, Carolyn Davis, Diane Ragsdale, Leo Chaney, Maxine Thornton Reese, Domingo Garcia and the list goes on and on for Rawlings.... I think these 4 little months of being Interim Mayor have either gone to Carry Water Away's mind or I guess he honestly thinks his big stick hits harder then everyone else I just mentioned COMBINED. The nerve of this guy??? He tried for 10 years to get on City Council and now that he FINALLY made it and bc Natinsky couldn't back door him to take over for Leppert he really thinks he's the King or something? The Southern Sector is waiting on your answer??? When did you start speaking for the Southern Sector?
Interesting aside, Leppert is running for Senate and must first win a REPUBLICAN Primary. Right now the control of the party is just to right of Atila the Hun. Leppert cannot get there with pictures of him in a gay parade, signing a SEIU union pledge and agreeing to Meet and Confer for public employees. Mike Rawlings, by dragging Leppert into this you just single-handedly cost Tom Leppert the GOP nomination. Since you're a Democrat, that might be OK, but anybody that likes Tom and would have voted for you, must now choose between Chief Kunkle and the Knucklehead Ron Natinsky. Yep, Robert, campaigns do get interesting in the final days.
Yes, it is a slap and you questioning if it is or not just makes the point further. You are a buffoon Dwayne and everyone knows it. Don't get me wrong, I'm no fan of Rodger Staubach but I would never question if he was a fool, you however no longer deserve the benefit of doubt.
Hopefully JWP will not beat his ass for usurping his crown.
I guess the title "Emperor of the Southern Sector" comes along with that of Mayor?
