That's Just a NORML Squad Car

Just couldn't hold this till item till 4:20, so sorry. But I'd meant to mention last week that the Dallas-Fort Worth chapter of the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws (or NORML) was staging its part of the World Wide Marijuana March on May 7 on the Dallas City Hall Plaza. (Say, Brent Brown, where's that food-dispensing commissary when you really need it?) Those needing a brief video recap can find it here. And ... exhale.

Anyway. During the rally, DFW NORML debuted what Opposing View's "Radical" Russ Belville now considers one of his favorite "new creative projects [intended] to capture the public imagination" -- the so-called Truth Enforcement Vehicle, which is actually a former city of Fort Worth law-enforcement vehicle picked up at auction, with the red-and-blues now a mellow shade of green. NORML's Stash blog has further photos of the sweet ride, including a few featuring a Fort Worth police officer trying to decide if he should impound the car or cue up "Free Ride" and take her for a spin to the Top Notch.
