Get Your Glee Finale On, Because Some Stations Didn't Air Network Programming Last Night

Well, Mark Salling's folks missed it too. So this is for them.
Fine -- make fun all you want. But I didn't get to see my Glee last night courtesy you-know-what. Not that I would have been able to enjoy it, what with the sound of hailstones ricocheting off the roof and the sirens turned up to 11. It was the season finale too -- nationals in New York. So it's on the other side.

I know, It was probably disappointing. This season's been especially hit-and-miss. And last week's should have been the closer anyhow -- hard to top a Jane Lynch episode capped with a funeral scored to "Pure Imagination." No, seriously. Damn it, stop laughing. Fine. But whatever you do, don't tell me what happened. Also on the other side, The Voice. Didn't get to see all of that either. I know, I'm a mess. But I did stay up past 1 watching the Rangers lose. Wait, what's that you say? Hines Ward won Dancing With the Stars? Well, that I knew.

Watched it on-line and it was a good show but you are right, who could top last week's show. Have to agree with roller25

Ok, not to play devils advocate here, but Texas is more that set up for emergency weather.  I heard sirens, I could hear the hail (not an idiot) and I could catch up on the weather during a commercial break or, I don't know, I could turn it to the weather channel.

Not saying their decision was wrong, it would just be great if that ran the episode again so I didn't have to watch it on my laptop or wait until September when it runs again.  Just sayin'

At the risk of ruining my cred, The Voice is actually pretty great.

Delkus's new tagline:  "When second count . . . we won't interrupt 'Dancing with the Stars!'"

A bizarre and indefensible decision by WFAA. That was a BIG damn storm, and if there was ever a time to interrupt *your* regularly scheduled programming for the weather, last night was it.

Fox would've made people watch Glee in SD on the HD station because their craptacular system won't overlay weather info properly anyway. Their weather coverage instead was in glorious HD!

Seeing WFAA was more concerned about ratings, I wasn't surprised they kept running network programming. But, seeing we have digital channels now post analog switch-off, why haven't they (i.e. local affiliates)gotten the message and started running their wall-to-wall weather on their digital sub-channels??

I don't know about other cable/satellite systems, but Verizon FiOS does not show those sub-channels.

Also, if there had been a major tornado, how many people would have been screaming about the TV stations not interrupting entertainment programming to warn them?

Thats why I bought a pair of HD/Digital Rabbit Ears for..It worked w/o fail during last nights fun..

My TV watching wasn't interrupted. But, I was watching "When Aliens Attack" on the National Geographic channel.

The bigger issue is all the old folks and rednecks missed out on an NCIS rerun.

They probably watched the weather and didn't know the difference.
