Former District 3 Councilman Ed Oakley Really Doesn't Want Dave Neumann Back at City Hall

• Maybe that's why so much of his money comes from North Dallas?

• Scott Griggs WILL NOT SELL HIS SOUL. Scott served as an alternate member on the Board of Adjustment for several months. He was annoying as hell, but I never had a doubt about his integrity and commitment to doing the right thing. I may not like every decision Scott will make, but I will never doubt his motives. It's thrilling that a grass roots campaign can be so successful against an incumbent. Go, Scott.

• Scott Griggs knows who he can trust and who he can't, let's give him that much credit.

• We've been saying it for years! Neumann isn't representing D3. Absent doesn't begin to describe the situation. With D1's Delia Jasso, our little corridor in north Oak Cliff had a taste of how much you can accomplish when you have a council member who gets it. D3 deserves the same amount of attention. Go Griggs! Early voting is open until 7 tonight!

• can't stand Ed Oakley, but he is correct this time. Neumann has done nothing for his constituents. And, Neumann is first in line to take credit for other's accomplishments. This race is over---Griggs has won.

• Unfortunately, beyond being voted "most popular" in first grade maybe, no politician trades an endorsement without a quid pro quo. The question isn't whether Scott Griggs has made deals with the "rogues gallery" endorsing him, the only questions are what deals are going to which endorsers. Scott Griggs is the new, smooth skinned 18 year old with the bubble butt just checking into prison. Who's getting his cigarettes? Who's getting his ass?

• Ed is absolutely correct. Neumann sucks and if you look at his voting record, one would think he represented the north. He is disrepectful to the citizens of District 3 and does not seek or want input from the community.

• I'm still hoping Scott can rise above the rogue's gallery of endorsements that has gathered around him.
