As promised, CBS News has sent along the first few minutes of Saturday night's episode of 48 Hours Mystery, which is devoted entirely to the case of Lisa Stone, who disappeared last June from her Far East Dallas home and hasn't been seen or heard from since. In the Very Dramatic sneak peek, you meet Stone's friends from Mesquite High School -- Tammye Markle, Joni Shannon and Tina Wiley -- who CBS bills as "The Facebook Detectives," since they've kept digging long after Dallas Police classified Stone's disappearance as an unsolved case.

CBS also sends a few more quotes from Sherry Henry, Stone's longtime partner and the sole person of interest in the disappearance, who was seen tossing Stone's belongings in a dumpster but who continues to insist she had nothing to do with the vanishing. Henry didn't speak to the Observer for our cover story last year. From the CBS tease:
48 Hours correspondent Maureen Maher: Did you file a missing persons report?
Sherry Henry: No, I did not.
Maher: Was there ever a time when you thought that as her life partner that you should file a missing person's report?
Henry: No, I did not. At the time, prior to me leaving Dallas, Lisa Stone is NOT missing.
The video follows.

why did sherry not take a lie detector test to prove that she did not know where she was? that would have been the smart thing. she has to know where she is because she can't get her stories straight to the friends or police. she just wanted the money and house that she was living in.

Sherry is far more interested in herself than in helping find Lisa!

I watched the interview with sherry henry...i think its crazy that u can look at someone and know they are full of it. Guilt was written all over that womans face and it ticks me off that its sooooo obvious that shes hiding something and nothing can be done. someone find something on this piece of crap so her friends and family can have some piece of mind.

I realized that I know the Stone family after I saw the famiy picture. My children grow up in the same neighborhood. I think there is someway that the police could realy get her partner to talk to them. I don't believe a word she said.

I would like an answer to a couple of questions on the disappearance of Lisa Stone. 1. Why didn*t the police investigate Lisa*s bank and credit card accounts, esp. after knowing that her lover forged a check on lisa's fathers account. 2. Is her lover still living in Lisa's house?

I pray that Lisa Stone will come home to her friends too. I feel like her lifetime partner could care less about this Lisa missing. I didn't even know Lisa Stone and am so saddened by her disapparence. People prey upon others who TRUST that person they are with to do right thing by them. What about the $8,000 forged check of Lisa's father? I pray with the 48 hours and the Dallas PD on the case they will solve this case! I agree with Steve Miller that I have had things picked up by Salvation Army and they did not ask for my license. And, don't forget her cats like Sandra Bailey mentioned. God Bless you Facebook detectives. And, I wish you all the luck that you will succeed because the three of you are too determined.

The Salvation Army came to my house on Thursday to pick of tons of stuff. When you call to schedule a pick up (and you HAVE to call..), they ask you on the phone what all you have, ask for your name, address and phone number. When the guys showed up, neither one asked for ANY identification, and the many times I have done this, I have NEVER had to show any i.d. Someone is NOT telling the truth.

I was teased about this last night around midnight, which would have made it a channel 11 RERUN. Nothin like an old tease in new makeup and clothes--like an elderly stripper still workin' the pole when time's long been up.

All the same, a very sad story. Seems so...obvious. Which makes it perfect for 48 Hrs. Mystery.
