It's Time For Another Mike Rawlings Ad

Categories: Campaign News

Like Sam said: Mike Rawlings has raised more than $1 million in his quest to become the next mayor of Dallas -- or "nearly three times the combined haul of Ron Natinksy and David Kunkle." And he's determined to spend that dough: Moments ago his campaign posted Rawlings's latest ad (the theme: "It's Time"), which will debut today on local teevee and features cameos by Roger Staubach and council member Tennell Atkins. Very ... patriotic.

Good job Mike, you saved advertising money by ripping off the Texas Rangers' "It's Time" slogan from last year.

Also, I think there are more black people in this commercial than the typical Mike Rawlings voter will see in the next year.

This, more than anything of recent memory...really makes me want to throw up in my mouth.

This is the single biggest load of BS I have ever seen.

It's time...to take a razor to a kid's bald head? For neighbors to actually know their neighbors? Public schools! Hah! It's time...for another "e" on "teevee".

"It's Morning in Dallas." Makes me think of the classic Reagan ad from the 1980's.

Sorry, doesn't have the gravitas...simply looks like a man who has lots of money to throw around like another ex-Mayor on his way to bigger and better things.

Also a cameo by campaign finance co-chair Tom Karol.
