On the other side's a video that started making the rounds yesterday (courtesy Alex Jones and FOX News) in which 2003 Miss USA winner-turned-actress Susie Castillo cries into a camera while recounting a particularly invasive pat-down at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport. Says Castillo -- speaking, she says, immediately after the incident occurred -- she opted for the Transportation Security Administration's pat-down rather than the full-body scanner "because of the high radiation levels."
At which point, the Neutrogena spokeswoman says, a female TSA worker "actually touched my vagina" four times. But when Castillo went to complain, TSA was kind enough to offer her a customer comment card. So there's that.
I find it very interesting that the former homeland security secretary (Chertoff) is being paid by the manufactures of the Porn Scanners to push them through TSA under the disguise of "Chertoff Security Consulting"
In addition, some research facilities are now starting to report the milimeter wave technology could cause damage to DNA strands. Come on Sheeple, how many times has the government told you someting was "safe" years later to find out it wasn't. I'm not willing to gamble with my health to make some politian rich.
For those of us who refuse the Porn Scanner, we should not have our genitalia groped.
Those that dismiss this as no big deal, can't answer the point that this does little for security. We have tight budgets, and we have to pick our battles.
I don't see any sense in the TSA. This indemnifies the airlines and also gives security over to the Feds when the airlines have every reason to be concerned. Let us "shop" security. Let it be something that the airlines compete over. But, it makes no sense for an unaccountable federal gov't to do this when private interests are sufficient.
I'd rather have money for Medicare. I'd rather have gov't focus its energies on what it does best, and must do, not on security theatre.
People need a refresher anatomy course. The *vagina* isn't located on the outside..... it would be real hard for someone to simply touch a *vagina*; one would have to penetrate it. The part that would be touched, over the clothes, would be the labia. NOT the *vagina*. It's like a guy complaining that his vas defrens was violated... that would pretty hard to do.
Also, TSA employees try and use these pat downs as punishment for refusing the scanner. A scanner that exposes a person to full body radiation. These scanners are not maintained by qualified professionals, and could easily be mis-calibrated. Most high ranking doctors refuse the scanners. Look it up.
Who ranks doctors: USA Today, ESPN, or the coaches?
As mentioned, the flight itself exposes you to many more times the radiation as the machines do, and that cell phone glued to your ear isn't exactly pumping out oxygen and rainbows.
It's OK, Susie...the TSA Woman was just auditioning you for "Maria Full of Grace" when she was up in your lady parts. Don't be such a queen! Real actresses go FAR for parts these days!
That's what Amerika has become. The land where in order to travel freely in it, you must show papers, get a naked photo and a dose of radiation, then get your genetalia fondled by the United States Gestapo. Sieg Heil.
No, it's not an exagerration. Look up VIPR teams. The TSA is now on trains and on the roads searching Americans. If we dont' stop them now, they will be in every mall, park, and street. The Police State is here.
"He who trades liberty for security deserves neither and will lose both."-Thomas Jefferson
There's like a thousand things we actually ought to be afraid of, yet so many people are going so far out of their way to fear imaginary stuff. Truly boggles the mind.
How can trust the TSA agents to know how to calibrate their X-Ray machine? They're not even allowed to wear radiation detection badges. Keep drinking the Kool-Aid they're serving you and hoping for the best as your freedoms are stripped from you and your niece one at a time.
Again with this right-tilting wingnut drivel dealing in junk science. Im also assuming you think Obama still isnt an American-born prez. after producing his birth certificate, not to mention you think Alex Jones, George Nory and Fox News are reliable news sources as well. BTW, I heard Wally World is having a special on shotgun ammo and tin-foil this week as well..might want to check that out buddy...
does it matter, if she was a dude it would have been her balls, do you feel better now? You have a choice to fly or not, if you dont like the rules or procedures to boarding a plane, then choose an alternate form of transportation
Susie Castillo is a hero for making sure the world knows exactly how degrading and painful it was for her to be sexually violated by a TSA screener. She is absolutely not alone in her reaction; I've spoken with dozens of women who had similar experiences, including the humiliation, emotional anguish, tears, and longer-lasting effects of being molested. Her reaction is normal and entirely justified. Having a stranger force you to endure non-consensual sexual contact is a devastating event.
Fight! Don't fly while these depraved monsters are sticking their hands down childrens' pants and rubbing the genitals of innocent travelers. Write letters to your Congressional and state representatives, TSA, your airlines, and EPIC. Fill out that complaint form. Offer support to the victims of TSA sexual abuse. I will never, ever stop fighting to end this obscene attack on our rights and our decency.

I read just yesterday about an FAA security agent putting devices meant to look like bombs in carry-on bags next to water bottles. The TSA scans caught the water bottle and let the mock bomb go through.
The scanner/pat down process isn't designed to catch terrorists. It's designed to make regular people feel like the government is doing everything it can to catch terrorists.
Maybe I should start flying TSA. :D just kidding...sorta.
I do wonder if the woman doing the pat down just "grazed" it rather than grope it based on how she describes the pat down procedure in the video. She says the woman "touched" it 4 times. Clearly this woman is upset and if it had been me, I would've said something to her after the first incident.
#1 all actresses can cry on demand.#2 got her taco touched 4 times...think she was suprised because her ex bf, Ryan Seacrest never has.#3 you get more radiaton when on the plane than you do going thru the scanner.#5 shut up biatch and keep the line moving.
TSA agents couldn't catch their own ass with both hands. They receive little 'law enforcement training', couldn't spell calibrate, much less actually calibrate the X-Ray death machines. There are no reports of them catching any terrorists, but every day there is another report of them stealing or molesting citizens that are paying for the abuse. Shameful, but that's your tax dollars at work. There is a 0% chance a plane will be hijacked after 9/11. The people on the plane will absolutely not allow it. A $3 lock on the cockpit will also solve that problem.
I don't know how to feel about this. On one hand, wth does she know about the scanners? On the other, you probably shouldnt get your vag touched multiple times to get on a plane (one vag rub should suffice) and on an entirely different note, I'm not a "celebrity" but I at least brush my hair before heading to the airport. Maybe thats the southern woman in me though.
If you don't want someone crawling all up your vag, you might consider wearing an Always Infinity Super-Heavy flow sanitary napkin, You can also hide a lot of shit in there!
What a bunch of dill weeds on here!! A pat down does not mean full body pat down. If I choose the pat down I don't expect the TSA to grab or touch my junk, just like she shouldn't expect the TSA to touch her vagina (4 times no less).
The bullshit scanners are brutally effective at catching people carrying nail files, but not very effective against people smuggling liquid explosives. It's a boondoggle, folks. Security theater. The pat-downs are primarily designed to intimidate people into using these expensive bullshit scanners, not keep us safe.
I swear people complain just to complain, Obviously she flies quite frequently and knew that if she chose the pat down, that is what she was going to get...a pat down. If you dont want to be groped then go through the damn scanners. You get less radiation in that machine than during your actual flight
Susie Castillo feels this is a violation of every American's rights. She did not ever say that she should get special treatment. No one, not one single person, deserves to be forced into non-consensual sexual contact by bullies in government uniforms. This is an obscene assault, completely unjustifiable. She was victimized and sexually abused for no reason, in a worthless and fake show of security.
Again, I agree w/ the whole "pat down" issue, Id rather we go to an Israeli-style of airport security where behavior is taken into account more than tech. But, under our current system, Ms. Castillo refused to get into the back-scatter device, mostly due to "junk science claims", she has to take the alternative. But, when it comes to the "molestation" claims, im not buying it...
Another one of the wingnut wackjob crowd complaining about getting a pat-down. I agree, the TSA needs to get more focused on whom flies similar to the Israelis, but dont cry and whine when some lady security guard named LaShawnde touches your vajayjay when your given a much faster (and safer) option..
stop thinking that a tiny country who's commercial air traffic is the equivalent of Terminal D at DFW. There is no comparison to a country with one international airport and the USA.
