Linda Gray wasn't sure she'd be able to attend. But yes, she and Larry Hagman were most definitely in Oak Cliff last night, as evidenced by this photo taken by the great Max Hartman, who graciously allowed us to share on Unfair Park.

Do they still call them drugstore cowboys? It would be a lot cooler if they did.

Does a return of Dallas mean a return of the 80s?

If only we could reconstitute Bronco Bowl.

Funny you mention it: I was going through some old files today, looking for a photo of R.E.M. at Club Dada mentioned in yesterday's item about the band at Moody in '87. I'd seen it before. Years ago. And I came across our old clubs file, with photos of the original Poor David's, Fast and Cool, Tango, etc. And there were all the conceptual renderings from the Bronco Bowl, when it was resurrected in the mid-'90s, around the time Springsteen played there -- early '96, if memory serves without Googling. I should post.
