DPD Wants Your Help Catching Two Young Men Who Robbed Galleria Bachendorf's Yesterday

Categories: Crime

The Dallas Police Department just sent word -- not to mention the video you see above: Two men hit the Galleria Bachendorf's yesterday around 8 p.m., getting away with close to $100,000 in jewels in a very short amount of time. (The police report says they got away with diamond earrings and a diamond necklace worth more than $150,000 combined, but DPD says some of that was recovered when one of the thieves dropped some of the goods during his escape.) The video speaks for itself, but Dallas PD adds to the narrative the following details as it asks for the public's help in ID'ing the young men responsible:
The attached video shows the first suspect getting off the mall escalator while talking on his cell phone. He is described as a Latin male in his late teens to mid 20s wearing all dark clothing and a dark baseball cap with a white logo. The second suspect is shown walking into the jewelry store wearing a dark-colored soccer jersey under a dark jacket. He is seen walking over to a display case and prying it open before running off with several pieces of jewelry. A store employee can be seen confronting him before he runs off. Both suspects are then seen running through the mall. An off-duty officer was able to apprehend a third suspect waiting outside in a suspect vehicle; however these two suspects were not located.

Anyone with information about this offense or these suspects are asked to contact the North Central Investigative Section at (214) 670-7236.

Why ask us for help Take a rubber Hose to the ones they have in custody .I am sure one of them will be willing to give up the other guy. They can sue if they want But I feel the Roberts Supreme Court will side with the cops on this being police abuse of Authority.

stupid question time: why no name released for the 3rd suspect? seems like someone could ID the two video culprits easier if they knew the name of their other homey.

should have gone for all the gold, it's easier dumping it at a "we buy gold" store, it's legal and they're not regulated. someone should fix that.......

Ha, ha, the joke is on the robbers, those jewels aren't worth one tenth that. Diamonds are good for cutting stones, they are an industrial by product, and totally overvalued. They aren't scarce, they are a scam. They aren't as showy as Tulips, another commodity that was radically overvalued for a time.
