Dallas International Film Festival Releases Full List of Titles, To Fete Director Steve James
| Being Elmo is DIFF's Opening Night offering |
The full list follows, and for locals, notable among the titles is, as expected, Clay Liford's shot-at-Garland High WUSS, a pitch-black comedy(ish) about a teacher who exacts his revenge upon a student who bullies him that had its world premiere in Austin over the weekend. Also playing the fest: the Russell Brand-starring remake of Arthur, Ironclad with Paul Giamatti, Miranda July's well-received The Future, Morgan Spurlock's The Greatest Movie Ever Sold, docs about Norman Mailer and The New York Times and John Mellencamp, and ... Hook. Jump for the whole release. DALLAS International Film Festival 2011 Announces Honoree & Full Schedule
