That $202-million figure seen in the screengrab above comes from PricewaterhouseCoopers's much-debated Super Bowl guesstimate released a few days ago -- though, as you'll note in Mayor Tom's interview with FOX Business Channel, he pushes that number up to, oh, 'round $600 million-ish. Which is what happens when you conduct interviews outside on days like this -- it's called a "cold snap." You'll have to watch the interview here. Fox Business doesn't allow for embedding.

I'm still predicting that these are the moments Mayor Tom has been hanging around for. Within a week after the Super Bowl, he'll be resigning. Or "waking up and giving 110%", as he expressed in his very clear and transparent interview a few weeks back.

I have attended Super Bowls since 1972 , two have been Ice Bowls and people do get around.Thursday is check in day, we should see some activities.I saw large RVs pulling in today so keep watch.NFL need to push date back to fourth Sunday in January like it was before.Weather is little better.

Hopefully, the Observer, DMN and/or WFAA will do a post Super Bowl assessment of economic impact, how much the ice removal costs were shifted to the Host Committee and related to make a determination of what was projected versus what was reality.........go Packers

Weather is terrible, so people aren't going to do and spend as much. Them's the breaks.

Seems kind of high with all the parties being cancelled, discounted party tickets, & hotel rooms in the area. Add in all the money locals are not spending because of the weather, I wonder if we will actually lose money on this deal.
