Down At City Hall, Natinsky Makes It Official

Ron and Nancy Natinsky take a romantic stroll through City Hall this morning.

Councilman Ron Natinsky got his Valentine's Day started right, taking a short stroll with his wife, Nancy, down to the City Secretary's office to submit his petition to run for mayor. Ah, romance.

A handful of cameramen and reporters crammed into the office alongside Natinsky, where he gabbed about future prospects. Natinsky's submission isn't a big surprise, just a formal stepping stone.

Natinksy has been gearing up to run for over a year, he said, since rumors started flying about Mayor Tom Leppert stepping down. "At that point, we started laying the groundwork for our foundation of the campaign," he said.

Now, with his signatures filed early on the first day, "the campaign's in high gear," he said.

well, let's elect our next pinata as "Bob" has suggested. No matter who is elected, he/she will be a failure in one way or another according to John Q Public. Hey John Q..why don't you get out and vote. Bring your friends and family this time will ya? Then you can legitimately complain when they (council and mayor) don't live up to your expectation...

Curious to see his platform...I tell ya, I wouldn't want the job! I don't think I need anymore holes in the head. LOL

Do you honestly not understand why people are saying that? It's not about who gets elected, it is about the huge mess our current mayor is going to leave the next one.

It's like how Obama gets blamed on the right for the huge f**king mess Bush left behind from his awful presidency (I mean, without national/global scale, the war crimes, and the actual dead bodies, although I suppose the last one is still up in the air depending on the PD cuts we have to make to keep the lights on) Tom left lots of huge bills due and stood steadfast against doing anything about figuring out to pay for them, now he's trying to run away from the mess and the next mayor is going to be the one stuck with the hard choices of figuring out how to pay them.
