Super Bowl Parties Already Half Off

A Friend of Unfair Park directs our attention to today's Groupon Daily Deal for Dallas: half-off tickets to Pamela Anderson's Super Bash 2011 at the Fashion Industry Gallery on Ross Ave., which takes place Friday night from 9 till 3 in the morning and will feature among the special guests none other than Amber Campisi. Initially, VIP ducats were made available at $500; this morning they went on sale at $250.

Also, the Gene Simmons-Shannon Tweed Wednesday-night wingding at Fair Park, Aces & Angels, is offering half-off admission as well for around $240, which appears to include an entry into the poker tourney -- the winner of which gets a seat at the World Series of Poker table.

Which reminds me: Coming later today, we'll have a stack of tix to give away to the Cotton Bowl parties Friday and Saturday nights. Keep your ears listening.

I've noticed the who's who events at Zouk (old Starck Club) have changed the last few days. The email I got on Friday promoted a party hosted by Diddy. Today, nary a mention of Diddy.
