• The bands listed above are for Thurs. and Fri. nights...the Saturday night bill; Headliner is Sublime (w/ their new singer) with local DFW act Exit 380 opening the show.

• Rob Pilatus stopped doing public appearances (and breathing) in 1998.

• Rooster, funny you mention that: I just got off the phone with a Fair Park official who said two other events are planned at Fair Park during the same time period -- something called Rock the Bowl at the Coliseum ... and Maxim's annual Super Bowl party. Trying to lock down more details, but all will more than likely overlap more than not. (Lieut. Baraile: the officer charged with counting Ed Hardy shirts.)

• Arlington taxpayers can keep their retractable roof, in Dallas we rent a tent.
