Party, Party: Fair Park Will Be Very Busy During Super Bowl Week (and Other Invites)

• V.I.P. was one of my favorite shows on late Sat/early Sun. 12:30am in the Chicago market. For actual reasons, not your, er, man reasons. I liked the brunette the best. She was spicy! Natalie someone...(maybe the character was named Natalie)? She pops up in fitness infomercials from time to time.

• Yes, I was joking. After all the wailing and gnashing of teeth after the Cowboys moved to Arlington, you would have thought that Dallas was completely left out. With all the festivities associated with the Super Bowl here in Dallas and the NBA All-Star game last year, I hope most folks will realize that Dallas will fare just fine with the stadium being in our neighbor to the west. And besides, Double J couldn't have built what he wanted to at Fair Park anyway, so it all worked out for the best. Arlington paid for it and we'll reap the benefits.

• You're joking right? Almost all of the Super Bowl events announced so far are taking place in Dallas. I'm with you though, I'll be forever bitter that the stadium is in Arlington. Maybe 30 years from now when Jerruh is long gone whoever owns the team will build in Dallas.
