• 4 people to each blaster 1 to operate blaster, 1 to operate nozzle, 2 to direct traffic as this truck /trailer unit will block traffic when used on highway grafitti. Granted, it is better than sandblasting, good for the environment and does not take off background paint but these punks tagging need to do time.

• Checked out the SodaBlaster website and it is a solution but not on a citywide scale. One SodaBlaster is approximatley 75,000 dollars and you have just eaten up the majority of Mark Cubans donation. A SodaBlaster is a huge machine that must be hauled behihnd a truck and is not easy to get into hard to reach areas plus one machine for a city of over 103,000 square miles, well like tinkling on a Yellowstone forest fire. Face it, Dallas will go through the graffitti polution that Detroit and New York until we get a mayor and council that gives a crap. I live in OC and have painted over grafitti myself for years and the punks keep coming back and tagging street signs, curbs, fence, telephone boxes, fire hydrants etc. and have called the Dallas Grafitti Wipeout crew and that is as much red tape as Obamacare as it took over a month to have someone even come check it out and they did over tyhree times and looked and pointed. • you can clean it up. but just like cleaning up the litter and trash...it will be back. sorry.

• The city should invite taggers to join together in mural art projects. Give these folks some purpose and pride and turn a negative into a positive. There are a number of fine artist that tag because it is their outlet so to speak.

• I noticed all last week on my drive btwn Arlington and Dallas that there were massinve cleanup and landscaping crews working from the trinity to loop 12. I am assuming this was a special cleanup cre for the Super Bowl but it was nice to see something happening to rid the should and fields of all the debris that just sits there year round

• Yep, let's get rid of the dead trees and shrubs. Not a nice impression at all.

• Certainly cleaning up graffiti is beneficial to the look of the City, so I commend the mayor for the effort. It should be ongoing. However, if the effort is to improve the looks of Dallas for the Super Bowl visitors, I suggest that an effort be made to clean up the freeways, which are littered visually with trash, frozen weeds, and lots of dead landscaping. Much of this is TXDOT's responsibility, but maybe the Mayor can bring some pressure on them. It would have more impact than much of the graffiti removal.
