Sarah Palin's Show at the Majestic Next Week Is Turning Into Quite the Texas GOP Jam Session

A few weeks back we noted that Sarah Palin will be performing her one-woman show at the now-city-of-Dallas-run Majestic Theatre on November 10 on behalf of Austin-based Heroic Media, self-described as using "mass media advertising to help women facing unexpected pregnancies with hopeful alternatives through television commercials, billboards, and internet." Turns out, she won't be alone.

According to an e-mail Heroic Media's Jennifer Wallace sent to supporters this afternoon, it's an all-star jam session scheduled to feature Governor Rick Perry, Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott and Stephen Broden, who will "participate as Q&A Panelists along with Gov. Sarah Palin." As you'll recall, Palin endorsed Broden during his failed run for Eddie Bernice Johnson's Congressional seat.

Wallace's e-mail goes on to say that Palin's so-called "Evening of Hope" will also include Dallas Mayor Tom Leppert, who will "welcome and introduce Gov. Sarah Palin to Dallas," while Liberty Legal Institute attorney Kelly Shackelford "will close the evening in prayer." I asked the mayor's chief of staff, Chris Heinbaugh, if the mayor was indeed confirmed; said Heinbaugh, "It's on his calendar." As you'll no doubt recall, Leppert was at the Fairmont Hotel in April, when Palin was last in town.

And, to answer your question: There won't be an after-hours version that gets blue. Not yet, anyway.
