Yesterday we took a long, hard, glassy-eyed look at KXAS-Channel 5's Newy Scruggs's run-in with the denizens of Weed Rock. This morning, after the jump, we turn to FOX 4's Steve Eagar, who, whilst stationed outside AT&T Park following last night's Rangers loss, runs into some folks showing off "their nice little friend," whose name, I believe, is is Bud, and he is a kind little friend. As you'll see on the other side, Eagar's confused about why San Franciscans are amused by North Texans' reaction to all the second-hand smoke comin' from thataways. (Maybe because next week Dallas votes on selling beer and wine, like, citywide!) Then again, you can't spell 4:20 without the 0 and 2. Hit it, Jose!

I'm glad I can light up and everything is pretty cool but not so cool here in Texas because it's not as cool as lighting up in Cali where everyone and everything is cooler because there's more cool stuff there including people that don't hate on other people except for Alaska where its cleaner because I saw a picture of it. The thing is, they're making more crap and selling more crap that people buy than you can imagine. I was collecting more garbage every day until I was thinking that I should get a disposal. A disposal? What's that, but more crap? I think that people would be cooler if they just lit up and got rid of all the crap, man, because like then they wouldn't have anybody to hate on like in the Bay area where some of the people don't even need disposals.

So per capita public marijuana consumption is a measure of being a real metropolis? Who knew? I support the decriminalization of marijuana. But at the same time, these guys are acting like a bunch of freshmen at Baylor who just figured out you could smuggle a flask into a football game.
No metro area is taken as seriously as the Bay area, dudes.

So San Fran has public consumption/public intoxication laws and yet they go hands off the public turf burn. Great place to take your kids for a ballgame. And Selig had concerns with Cuban as an owner? Bud S needs to get his MLB World Series sceneage under control. I got no problem with legalization but keep the stupid behavior at home or in clubs where it belongs. Not surprising from a bankrupt state where their Danny White crazy eyed Congress lady passes a bill that has their unborn grand kids paying for their health care. Seems these folks know their weed instead of knowing which end of a weed to pull.
If Jesus and Moses got the munchies, they'd be all like, Pomegranates and honey -- bonus! Jesus might even have a bacon sandwich, but Moses would be like, Dude, that's evil! and Jesus would be like, So crucify me! and they'd both laugh for a really, really long time but then they'd get real quiet real quick and be like When the fuck is somebody going to invent TV, already? Or at least, like, jazz? Then they'd laugh again for a long time, even after they forgot why. Then Jesus would use his magical powers to invent brownies and Moses would be sort of jealous but he'd be so stoned he wouldn't really have much ambition anyway so he'd just eat the brownies and be content and after the brownies were gone he'd be, Well, all right, Mr. Magic Dude, I've got this loaf of bread here ... and they'd both sit blank-faced and slack-jawed for precisely one solid minute and then burst (or "bust," in Jesus's Nazareth drawl) out laughing.
I have never heard so much ancillary discussion about a topic as it relates to the World Series. This must be Weed Week because even the normally outwardly buttoned up broadcasters are discussing it with an almost THC fueled giddiness.
