Tour Tomorrow's Parkland Hospital Today!

• The reality of the world is that, although Parkland would like for the Dallas population to support it, they don't. I think it is very clear to a lot of people in Dallas that Parkland cuts corners on patient safety and the quality of work they do on Dallas' uninsured patient population. I don't see a brand new luxury overrated $1.27 billion hospital changing the substandard care that Parkland provides. Patients never see an attending physician at Parkland and are only "practiced on" by training medical students and residents. It makes me relieved that I don't get my medical needs taken care of at Parkland.

• Parkland Hospital is an incredible public institution that should be supported by local Dallas population. It is full of hardworking doctors that have chosen public service over private practice. They deserve an up-to-date facility that represents the 21st century and will allow the hospital to practice quality medicine. A little bit of good architecture can go a long way.

• Hope Parkland survives until they get their hospital completed. They've had a lot of troubles recently, and they needed to get this new hospital built yesterday to sweep all their troubles under the rug.

• I think it looks great! Shed a little positive light on a great project rather than continual negative feed back. Keep in mind this is a hospital not a luxury hotel.

• Entirely nothing comfortable looking about that bed, unless those are two pull out flat screens for those bed-bound. Also, the doc/treatment is way outta the picture. Is that to say the treatment portion really is not a focus of the new hospital? That would be the regular Parkland Hosp.
