Two months back we got to discussing the case of Saad Nabeel, who came to the U.S. with his parents when he was 3, graduated from Frisco's Liberty High School, received an electrical engineering scholarship to the University of Texas at Arlington -- only to find himself deported by the U.S. government to Dhaka, Bangladesh, after his parents were denied political asylum and refused to leave. Ralph Isenberg, you may recall, had hoped to discuss Nabeel's case with the president. Except, that didn't happen.

Late last week there appeared a piece in which Eisenberg says he's ready to file suit against Immigration and Customs Enforcement. And The Huffington Post just posted a Q&A with Nabeel, in which he says he and Eisenberg talk at least once a day, often for several hours at a time. Says Saad, "He insists that I fully understand what's happened to me and my family so that I can respond to all the nasty and misinformed comments out there that are directed towards me and my family." That Huffington Post post follows a September 21 open letter and video Saad "sent" to the president, which generated hundreds of comments.
