The Texas Department of State Health Services just sent word: Today it issued a "fish advisory" for the Trinity River
-- most of it, anyway, and most definitely the part that runs through Dallas
. Why come the heads-up? "Laboratory testing of fish samples found elevated levels of dioxins and polychlorinated byphenyls, or PCBs." The DSHS says the Trinity's OK for swimin', though: "Elevated levels of PCBs and dioxins in fish do not pose a health risk for people swimming or participating in other water recreation activities." Riiiiight
. Tell that to Schutze.
