Dallas Sports Blogs to Gather Under One Roof

• But Trei, you havent done much of a job in selling your product. Let's start with the basics--what separates you from the other sports media outlets? What do they not do that you are supposedly going to do? Let's put that Dallas education to work. You're going to need a strong, and I mean strong work ethic to survive in what you're about to dive into. Good luck.

• I've been a fan of SBNation for some time - give it a shot. It's a great idea and solid content that isn't neutered like main stream sports media or frivolous like fan sites. The storystream concept is great for fans that want to stay plugged in. Also, what's up Trei?

• Hey Robert, thanks for the write-up. SB Nation Dallas-Ft. Worth won't just be an aggregator. The main focus of the site will be to provide original content including DFW sports news, opinion columns and a new blog. The SB Nation blogs that focus on DFW teams will be highlighted, but that isn't the core of what you'll be able to find at: http://dallas.sbnation.com/ Lakewooder, I think you'd be surprised by the level of conversation on these sites. You're much more likely to find comments like you suggested on ESPN than SB Nation sites. C, LSB is a great place to talk Rangers on game day. Same goes for Blogging the Boys on the Cowboys. G.David, if you haven't heard of the sites yet, you should check them out. Intelligent, passionate fans writing about their favorite teams everyday is a refreshing change of pace and a nice complement to other sports media. Obviously, I'm biased since I work for SB Nation, but I lived and graduated in Dallas and think that we're creating something new and useful for sports fans in DFW.

• LSB is the awesome. The kneejerking, the Mike Young/RonWash hate, the Elvis swooning, Claudia gifs. Game day threads are as much as an appointment for me as actually tuning in the game. Adam does a great job over there.
