By Texas Music, TXA 21 Clearly Means "Country Music." And, Not Texan.

• Yeah, it's not quite the "Texas" music from the old Buddy magazine, is it?.  But my dad played in Ernest Tubb's  band for a while, so I do love this show.

• I love this state too, but does anybody else ever get tired of the obligatory 'that's what I love about Texas' songs-most of those guys listed above has one, they are played hourly on the Range.

• @Antone It's not a station, it's a television show. One might gather that from the context clues.

• Who is this William Nelson that y'all speak of?

• Yep, can't get more up-and-coming than Willie Nelson and George Strait. Someone needs to give those guys some exposure.

• Just saw Ray Benson, when I watched the old film, Alamo Bay on Net Flix, although he's credited with his given name, Ray Benson Seifert.

• They might as well call it the Mountain Dew and Gas Station Pickle music scene.

• Just what we need in town another country station. Now if only we work on getting some more Tejano stations.

• Works for me. Texas Music Scene is "country" to me. With Ray Benson hosting, it will be great!

• CCR (cross canadian) is considered "red dirt music" actually, a genre which has been lumped in with the "texas country music" genre (REK, Green, the Birddogs)and CCR are good old Texans now, they have lived down in New Braunfels for several years.
