Shot-in-Dallas Buddy-Cop Show For FOX Gets New Logo to Go With New Name

More than a few Friends of Unfair Park were unimpressed with the decision made earlier this month to rename Code 58 -- the buddy-cop dramedy currently shooting 'round town with Bradley Whitford and Colin Hanks -- to The Good Guys. Nevertheless, that's the title FOX and creator Matt Nix are sticking with, as evidenced by the promo materials I just found on the network's site reiterating the May 19 sneak preview in advance of its official premiere on June 7. And, yes, the show's set present-day, despite its very Starsky & Hutch logo.
