• I sent an email to Jerome Garcia / Board Trustee DISD District 7. Here is the response I received which as you can see is pretty dissapointing. First off he addressed it to Ms. of which I am a man (no doubt about it from my name which was on the email). No wonder DISD is impotnet on education when the board emmbers are so uneducated!!!!!! Ms. XXXXXXX, Thank you for your interest in the education of the children of the DISD. • DISD has more problems than I can begin to address here, yet I have tried to be understanding and supportive through the years. NO longer. These people are ignorant and have no admirable cultural values, in my opinion. They had every chance to be a blessing to Dallas, to do a classy thing that would endure-but no. They are short-sighted and without understanding. What they destroy will be gone forever-for tennis courts that will look good a few years!

• I've never seen an asbestos abatement on a building that is unsecured from the elements. Exactly how is the asbestos being contained to keep it from infiltrating the environment with the windows and doors being removed? Could this be a demo without a permit taking place? And is this the cities definition of a secured empty property?

• You'd think some of these folks hiding out in Cheney's bunker would come out, grow a pair and man-up about what they're doing. Just own it..."Yeah we're doing it, we're not listening to the community, we do what we want, who cares." Why all the secrecy... aside from the fact that it's shameful. Question for next bond campaign... "How many historic structures will be razed with this money?" It is a valid question after this exercise in waste.
