Texas Monthly's Paul Burka Not Welcome at KERA's GOP Gubernatorial Debate

• That's it for me supporting KERA--no more donations. And I'm a longtime subscriber.

• Any chance that Paul Burka will ever grant the squirrel living beneath his nose its freedom? Free the Burka Squirrel! Free the Burka Squirrel! Free the Burka Squirrel!

• Even more interesting is the fact that the Denton County GOP actually did all the ground work to get this going and KERA is completely ignoring them credit for their hard work!!! KERA wouldn't have the debate without them.

• if anything, burka has supported KBH as a necessary alternative, but his criticisms have been with how poorly her campaign has been run.

• Who *is* a fan of Burka Blog? It seems he is usually one of the more uninformed bloggers out there on both sides of the aisle.

• Well like it or not, Burka has chosen sides and gone partisan in this election. I'm not saying he can't, but don't expect an obstensively neutral organizer to allow one side to have a partisan questioner.

• "The decision was made to go with straight reporters, not opinion writers" And KERA is the one that clarifies where that line is drawn?

• Good luck to KERA trying to raise money next pledge drive. I know several people who will not be renewing.

• KERA lies! Burka had his blog since 2006 and was on the media panel in 2008! Hutchison wont not appear with out Burka being banned and the KERA media hosts agreed. Perry Should bail out on this phony rigged "debate" when public tv starts lying to the media its a sad day indeed.

• I think Debra Medina's attacks against Rick Perry may have been misguided. It looks like it's been KBH who has been determining who can and cannot appear at the debates.
