Speaking of Dallas Farmers Market ...

I had to head back there yesterday afternoon, and, on my way out, I espied, perched outside of Shed No. 2, Mitchell Rasansky's favorite public-art installation: Art Garcia's $18,000 worth of fiberglass concrete peaches spilled out on the sidewalk, resting alongside a, um, giant basket that stands about three feet tall. They were supposed to debut at the end of September; say market vendors, they showed up, oh, about a week ago. Clearly worth the wait. Also: I don't think there's an apostrophe in "Farmers." Nope, there isn't.
