It would be great to move it to ANY other time than the dang 11am start..I'd take 3pm, 6pm, 7pm...it's hard on old bones to get ready for an 11am start...

I seriously doubt the brass at each university would agree to it - simply for the safety of their students and fans. I know i wouldn't want my 20 yr old daughter walking the streets after dark in fair park trying to find were they parked.
It would also create a nightmare for the Dallas Police with 100K++ people trying to leave South Dallas late at night.
If it were all about TV revenue, the game would have already been played in prime time.. hasn't happened, never will.

Along with the aforementioned security and traffic issues, fans both in person and watching on TV would miss out on the glorious site of the sun-bathed field and seas of red and orange - something JerryWorld will never be able to deliver.

They mention that their forecast was only for 20k riders and they got 40k. Who did the forecast? DART employees? Did they congratulate the people who did the forecast? Did I see an advertisement about taking the green line to fair park?
Just another example of government at work. Maybe we can get some of these folks appointed to the board that will oversee the public option.
Posted On: Wednesday, Oct. 28 2009 @ 12:45PMFrom my vantage point that most riders were single "DAY PASS" purchasers not monthly pass riders and they were all attempting to purchase their tickets from the same two machines at Mockingbird Station and at Park Lane. Three to Five Minutes per ticket purchase time. Due to lack of edumaication as how to step on a bus put your money in the fare box and get a ticket and step off the bus and run chatch your train.
They all went to get on the Green Line MLK train at Pearl Station. They should have rode further West ant transfered to the Green Line going back toward Pearl at St.Paul, Akard,or the West End.
What was the matter with going to the Fair on Route 409 from Parkland thru Cityplace on to the Exposition of JB Jackson Drop Off.
People could also catch Route 409 at Illinois TC and come in the back way. Route 44 from down town goes to JB Jackson TC.
So let them eat cake who doesn't start early enough.Hung Over? Maybe.

Astounding that people still spout this stuff in 2009.
In the 33 years I have attended the game it has been held at 2pm 80% of the time with the other 20% being 11am.
