Office Politics, or: Penney for Your Lawsuit

• I heard he won this case -- good for him -- seemed very short sided by the Manager and Company

• Come on racist??? NO.. Why was he singled out? If he gets axed, the originator needs to go as well.

• Steve, how do draw out that he's a racist because he tapes a pic of Obama shining Palin's shoes? Is it because YOU think that only black people can be shoe shiners? There have been plenty of very racist photos that have made the rounds, and this is not among them. Dumb and unfunny, yes, but you've got a problem if you think it's racist.

• I'd feel a lot better about Penney's conduct if they also fired the person who originally sent around the photo. It's awfully convenient that the sick dude is the only one who got the ax.

• Big corporations are always looking for excuses to fire employees with health problems. I don't find anything offense or sexual about the cartoon. I would agree with Baker and hope Penney has to pay out the ass on this inproper firing

• Or maybe he's just a racist and he got fired for that. that's a good enough reason for me to fire someone. He's probably having trouble finding another job with that whole colitis and racism thing he's got going on.
