| On Friday, Fort Worth Mayor Mike Moncrief asked the acting U.S. Attorney to review the Rainbow Lounge raid and investigations. |
Then there is this from Kathleen Hicks, the Fort Worth council member who represents the neighborhood in which the Rainbow Lounge is located and who's joined in the call for an independent investigation:
"It has caused a lot of soul searching within City Hall and beyond. Fort Worth has been able to move quietly along and avoid all the tension and strife that you have seen in other cities, but sometimes you need to have tension and strife. I hope that this will be a wake-up call."
